Please see Dr Max Neun’s letter to the GMC, sent this month, expressing concerns about the GMC’s actions in respect of the Dr C Day v Lewisham and Greenwich and Health Education England whistle-blowing case. It is signed by over 1,000 doctors. We would like to thank Dr Neun and all the doctors that kindly signed this important letter.

Please also see the below link to Sir Anthony Hooper’s Report into the actions of the GMC in respect of doctors that raise safety concerns. It is highly critical of the GMC but was welcomed by Mr Dickinson, GMC CEO. Curiously, the Hooper report that was supposedly embraced by the GMC in March 2015, was followed in April 2015 by a refusal from the GMC CEO to offer clarification of the need for junior doctors to have whistle blowing protection for their careers.
