We have learnt that in the weeks leading up to the Dr Day whistleblowing case hearing, the BMA formed a disciplinary panel of one of the barristers representing the Trust in the case and a consultant from the same Trust. The panel found against a member of BMA Council challenging the BMA’s actions in respect of the Day case – Prof Allyson Pollock.
