Please see this letter from Ben Gummer MP who is Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Care Quality. It is addressed to my local MP who forwarded it to me.

It appears to attempt to respond to several criticisms that have been put to the Secretary of State for Health over his handling of my whistle-blowing claim. In particular, the fact that taxpayer’s money has been used in an attempt to argue 54,000 doctors out of statutory whistle-blowing protection  in order to prevent my whistle-blowing case being heard in full.

On reading the letter it seems that Mr Gummer is struggling with the difference between  a medical student and a Health Education England trainee doctor who is of course a fully qualified doctor with up to 10 years of experience. It avoids many of the issues my case raises.
